It's hard to see the mouth in these pictures. Why do you think he has a broken jaw? Can you post better pictures of the jaw. I rescued a Desert Tortoise with a broken jaw (healed) and this is what it looked like. Boy I sure miss Jawbreaker he was one of the best tortoises ever. He went to another home.
A trip to the vet may be in order. Her (from the little I could see) jaw is borken and it looks as though you can move it when you were holding her head to take the pics. A vet could possibly wire it. But eating with a broken jaw unhealed would be very difficult for her and take special care that a vet could help you with. This is strickly my opinion. As I have no knowledge of when this accident happened. She may just be in pain and that is why she hides when you are near or she may not be used to being handled. The Redfoot I rehabed that was attaced by a racoon ? would hide when I picked her up and moved her. She was hurting with open sores on both forearms and the sole of both hind feet. But after she began to heal about a week or so she would come out when she was soaking and I would talk with her. Now 1 month later she comes over to me when I go out to feet them. It may take some time for her to get use to you. But I would have her jaw checked out if she was mine.
yes that is help ful crazy1 but the pics are not mine of the one holding her head im the top pics and i will take her to the vet tomorrow morning and she is eating fine just really timid
