Hello new friends!

My name is Nicole and I am a high school history teacher living in Huntington Beach, California. Tortoises have been my favorite animal for as long as I can remember, yet I've never personally owned one. My partner and I recently decided that we would like to expand our little family and adopt a tortoise! We will be adopting a 5 month old Red-Footed Tortoise this weekend, and have been preparing his/her enclosure for weeks. We're so excited!

I am eager to begin reading through the different threads and see what wisdom all you Red-Foot owners have to share
