Hello I’m new here this is my Redfoot FUEGOBOOTS!

I just picked him up from a tumultuous travel mishap with FedEx! He is fine eating and hanging out. So blessed he is ok! Any advice on food and enclosure is welcome I hope the Texas humidity will be enuff for his outdoor enclosure.
I’m using baby pools and cypress mulch. I also have an enormous yard with an area just for him!

I am thinking of adopting a Greek tort that needs a home do you think they will get along should it be male or female?

NO!!! Never mix species! The two you've mentioned, redfoots and greeks, come from entirely different continents, and as such have totally different micro organisms peacefully living inside their bodies that their species have become accustomed to. Putting the different species into contact with these other continent micro organisms could make the other tortoise sick or even dead.

So definitely suggest going through this section of the forums: https://www.tortoiseforum.org/forums/redfoot-and-yellowfoot-tortoises.79/

And definitely read the care-sheet:

Also you'd need to provide pictures of the belly area to get an idea of what the gender might be.

OMG thanks for telling me I had no Idea?
So that leads me to wonder if the tank I used for my Herman’s that was stolen is ok to use for FUEGOBOOTS after I clean it?

That issue would be if they were eating each other's poop (which tortoises love), but...

If it's a tank like what's sold at a pet store, your tort is already too big for it. For a red foot, your best options for a quick indoor setup are an indoor greenhouse or a large grow tent to keep in plenty of humidity. You could look into enclosing a section of your yard with a dog kennel and padlock. Either way, Lowe's/Home Depot can be a tortoise owner's best friend!

Texas out door humidity is at least 75-80% humidity. Is this ok for now? Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Yes! I am looking up both grow tents and indoor green house. Texas is so humid I hope his out door set up is ok the breeder said it was ok for now
