Heat Lamp/CHE & Cats

We're getting a Tortoise & a Kitten. Tortoise will be in a enclosure with a cage on top to make sure the two are separated.

We'll have 3 lights though 24" UVB and a Basking Heat Lamp and CHE both hanging from ZooMed Light Stands.

Just wondering if there's anything we need to worry about with the cat? Don't want the cat to get hurt by the heat lamp/CHE. Just wondering if anyone has any cats and experience or thoughts keeping cats safe around Tortoise heat sources.

The tortoise will be in a room with a sturdy door the cat can't push into. So we could try & keep the door closed most of the time.

Hanging the lamps form overhead should prevent any problems with the cat.

What species of tortoise and what age/size?

Russian Tortoise will be about 2.5 - 3 months old when we get him from Carol!
