Always loved the look of them. Years ago we used to find so many in the ponds here, but now there are few left, since the RES have taken over all the ponds along with the Eastern Painteds. If I were to get water turtles again that is what I'd probably get.

I really enjoy the spotted turtles, they are one of the two aquatic turtles that I keep these days. I am glad to be in a state where I can keep them now.
My second clutch of three started hatching today. It is looking to be a good year for them.
