Hello everyone,
Before I turn into Betty Crocker and start cooking alot of food for
today, I wanted to ask -
I am planning on putting aside a piece of plain cook sweet potato for my Seldon
to sample with his spring mix. A need food for him to try !
Also, I have heard he is around 4 months old, would it be safe for him to sample
a piece of shrimp, like shrimp cocktail shrimp ? Cooked with nothing on it.
Thanks and have a great holiday !

No shrimp.

Yes to raw sweet potato, yams, etc.

They will try to eat anything you bring them so take the responsibility seriously.

Happy Thanksgiving from Tula, Gus, and Speedy!

I don't see a pronlem with the shrimp, they can have protein. As for sweet potato, I think he will go crazy over it, most rf's do.

Ok I see your point. Arthropods are eaten in the wild so, shrimp will suffice as a substitute for that crustacean.

I gave him the sweet potato piece mushed up a bit.
He loved it. He seems to be a good eater, but he's not a pig
about it. He ate the sweet potato like he eats peaches, with
focus. He didnt finish it all, I might be giving portions that are
a bit too big for his size.
I will try giving him shrimp tomorrow. Thanks for your replies.
