After seeing John's eye-opening venture into growth rates in unrelated leopards...

http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-Examples-of-growth-rate#axzz1LmZgk8yk

...I though I'd traverse the same path with my young sulcata. The two normal phase (Climber and Jamie) are clutchmates...as are the two Ivory sulcata (Eggroll and Snowflake). Climber is the only male among the four...and I'm sure this is why he is much larger than the other three. Also, Snowflake suffered a devastating injury when she was two months old...so I'm positive this stunted her early development! I should also point out that when I acquired the two Ivories, they were BOTH larger than the two normal phase...All are on the same diet...Mazuri in the morning...cactus in the afternoon...and free to graze at their leisure!

I weighed and measured them about a month ago and those results can be seen here...

Good pics Dean, hope you don't mind me posting some of my own.

Here are two sri lankans I have. Both from the same mother and possibly same father. I can't remember if they were from the same clutch or not, but from the same egg laying season for sure. Both incubated to be female, though I think the smaller one might be male.

Fantastic examples of different growth rates. Thats a good way to show its hard to tell how old a tort is unless you know the hatch date..
