I have a seven and a half month old redfoot who seems to be getting bigger by the week. I just measured him and the top of his shell is 11cm and the bottom is 7cm.
I am following the plans that are on redfootnerd's site. He has greens 4 days a week, fruit 2 days, and a small amount of protein once a week. His home is also kept at standard conditions. Humidity between 60 and 85%. Temperatures between 78 and 86 F. He has a heat lamp and uv bulb. His hide is on the cool side with the entrance facing away from the light.
He has a healthy appetite and loves climbing and roaming. He seems very healthy but I know that growing too fast can prove to be detrimental to his house.
Is he growing too fast?
Thanks.
