Growing greens in Cinder Blocks.

Yesterday I planted some collard greens. IMG_20210520_175402080.jpgSo far I've got Red lettuce, Romaine, Arugula, Kale, Collard greens, squash, cactus, and cucumbers growing for the Torts.

Keep the soil damp and if the sun gets too hot I set a piece of lattice in front of them as protection from the strong sun...

I planted some greens inside Cinder blocks this weekend. Not sure if it'll work or not. Anybody else ever try this? And did it work? So far I've planted red lettuce, kale, romaine, and arugula.View attachment 324472
As seen below, works great! Hopefully your collards will grow this big haha. In my cinder blocks I have some kale too. In pots, I have more collards, some edible flowers, more kale, cacti, and squash.
