Growing greens in Cinder Blocks.

Yesterday I planted some collard greens. So far I've got Red lettuce, Romaine, Arugula, Kale, Collard greens, squash, cactus, and cucumbers growing for the Torts.

Keep the soil damp and if the sun gets too hot I set a piece of lattice in front of them as protection from the strong sun...

YES lattice is my fave. Just that bit of protection goes a long way here in Nevada.

As seen below, works great! Hopefully your collards will grow this big haha. In my cinder blocks I have some kale too. In pots, I have more collards, some edible flowers, more kale, cacti, and squash.
