Hey :)
i was just wondering if i can grow some food for my Herman tortoise and what types of plant i should grow for her

There are plenty of places that sell seeds for clover, dandelion and other such plants. Tortoise supply has a Testudo Mix that is pretty good. You could also look for The T Lady, she has a good seed mix too.

I grow the feed cacti you can buy.I planted 4 pads in a pot of their own , I sank 1/3 of them into sandy soil and they all took.
It doesn't provide enough that I can give all of my 14 torts some daily but I prioritize the babies with fresh shaved cacti. I use a potato peeler and take strips right off plant, leaving pad in place on plant so it remains fresh.

I plan to grow red clover and arugula sprouting seeds too soon as they are highly nutritious.
They have an online store in US and Canada and organic too.

There are lots of safe house plants too like geranium, spider plant etc -try this site, there are many sites with plant lists.
