Hello
I have a cherryhead tortoise and i am having trouble finding different greens in my supermarkets? I live in plymouth and the only greens i can find are spring greens??! Does anyone know where to get them from?

Do you have any mexican or polish markets near you? Or how about a whole foods store? You can also search online and buy cactus and seeds to grow your own.

You can also find plenty of greens outside to mix in with what you buy. Websites like the Tortoise Table and previous threads can tell you whether the weeds in your yard are edible or not.

Carrot or radish tops, Cacti pads and their flowers, other edible flowers such as rose, hibiscus, dandelions, violets, butter, green-leaf, red-leaf lettuces, sprouts, mushrooms (safe), collard and mustard greens. Grape leaves and most type of “young” grasses.

If you have much of an Asian community near by you probably will have some Asian markets. They often carry a large variety of uncommon fresh greens.
