I bought a cuttlebone for my RT Gary about 5 months ago but he's never touched it. I used a cheese grater to grate it up and have started sprinkling it on his greens 1-2 times a week. This should be ok right? Do you think it's just as good as buying calcium powder?

Thanks!
Lisa

Yup! It's just a solid block of calcium. I would leave a little cuttle bone in there just incase. Mine never touched it for months, and just this morning I woke up and he had nibbled about a quarter of it away over night lol

Ok great thanks! I figured it was fine but wanted to see if others did this too. I will keep a piece in his enclosure too. Thanks!
