Mine prefer the soft new leaves, older growth I have to cut up and put in a mix.

Hello there fellow "torties"....can I feed grape leaves to my Leo's?
My CDTs prefer grape leaves over almost everything else. They have become a staple of their diet. The fruit, ie grapes, themselves is too high in sugar content for them to eat. I don't believe that it matters what the grape variety is, they love them all. As stated in a previous post, be sure your plants are raised organically. Grape leaves provide great nutrition and fiber and you shouldn't have to rob your grandchildren's collage fund to get them. Feed away!
