Hey guys! I've been wanting to breed my male Golden Greek tortoise for awhile now. I have a very large set up that is room for a female and eggs, and I'm planning on adding space. If I decided to sell some of the offspring would I need a permit? I wouldn't be shipping and I wouldn't be selling from a pet store or something. Thank you guys very much

No permit is needed in order to keep or sell tortoises, with the exception of native turtles and tortoise. There are pretty strict laws governing the keeping and selling of them. I understand that New Jersey has some pretty strict turtle laws, but I think you're ok in Texas.
