Hey guys! I've been wanting to breed my male Golden Greek tortoise for awhile now. I have a very large set up that is room for a female and eggs, and I'm planning on adding space. If I decided to sell some of the offspring would I need a permit? I wouldn't be shipping and I wouldn't be selling from a pet store or something. Thank you guys very much :):tort:

No permit is needed in order to keep or sell tortoises, with the exception of native turtles and tortoise. There are pretty strict laws governing the keeping and selling of them. I understand that New Jersey has some pretty strict turtle laws, but I think you're ok in Texas.
