did anyone watch the National Geographic channel last night? they had an hour long special about the galapagos islands. i'm not sure if it was new or a repeat. they talked a little bit about the Galapagos Tortoise. every animal there had a purpose. the birds were friends with the Galapgos Tortoise, the tortoise would stand tall and let the birds eat the bugs and parasites off of them. small lizards were friends with the seals, walking all over them to eat the flies that gathered on the seals. ghost crabs form the sand would crawl on the marine iguanas and eat the parasites and algae off of them. it was an amazing show to watch!
