I am seeking information on freshwater turtle injury and mortality from dredging wetlands (eg. creating ponds in shallow wetlands, or deepening existing ponds, channels, streams, rivers or bays; or other incidences of machinery in wetlands killing or injuring turtles).

I have data on a number of Blanding's, Snapping, Midland Painted and Spotted turtles killed from dredging machinery at one of my study sites, though the more information I can gather, the better. I am seeking additional information in hopes of preventing further losses of the above listed species from work proposed at a sensitive site. Any reports, papers and photos would be very useful. The available literature is scarce, so anything you may have could be useful.
Thank you in advance.
