Sure you all know French fries (although the're Belgian... eh)

But do you know...

French radiated?







These a 3 of my young Astrochelys radiata , from Madagascar.

Undoubtedly ma fav specie, being beautiful and having a familiar behavior.

they're a bit slow to grow in the first years, but now they are 3 and they're growing like mad

By the way, you won't believe it but the Banana leaf comes from my Banana tree. Yeah, in Paris.
that's a Musa basjoo, Japanese banana tree, which is very hardy.

Sure

As most land species, you need a local permit to keep them
That permit is not easy to obtain...

I'm in the states and it's a crying shame the numbers that are being produced there and we can't touch them.
