I just re potted my gigantic semi spineless cactus and have at least 60 pounds of pads laying around.
Each of these pads will grow into it's own giant cactus.....or can be fed as is to your tortoise....or eaten by your family. If that's your thing.
(The pad that started this monster cactus was sold to me at a grocery stand as people food)
You must come get them
Take as much as you want.
The photo is not recent. But is of the actual plant.
Sunrise Florida 33322.

I found a secret spot with them on a public school wood line in RICHMOND! I scared my wife when I saw them. We had gone there multiple times but this once we around to the other side and boom Tortie gold!

Negative you are within real driving distance as it is in Henrico!

Haaa haa, that would STILL be way too far! Our local international market sells them here, right up the road. Pretty nice, very fresh pads along with the fruit.

Very cool that you have a local patch!

I hope that there are no late responders.
Although I do and always should have some free cactus pads to give away. The giant pile that I cut to trim down my plant has been sent to the county dump.

Update, since I've been back on my feet, I've been whacking parts off of this behemoth again. And I'm nearly done.
I still have some left. But hopefully not for long.
Every single pad must be removed. Because each one that falls and lands on the ground becomes a whole new plant.
This was just a single pad only a few years ago.
