Please help what kind is it what should it be eating he ate some romaine and spinach and carrot. Now i read here not to feed carrot. I'm trying to find owners but have not found them yet.

Hi and welcome,
Thanks for rescuing this tort. I hope you find his/her owners soon but meanwhile you'll get plenty of help here.
If you advertise it as found don't give too much away about what species he is so that you don't get people after him who are looking for free torts to sell on, and see if there's any distinguishing marks that only the owner would know.

Yes I know that I've checked with neighbors in my neighborhood. We know 2 houses that have tortoises but this one does not belong. I haven't seen any lost posters either. I've had him or her 1 week.
