Hi Everyone....Sorry you will find cross posting of this but just trying to spread the word of our Live Turtle and Tortoise Show coming up in a few months. Know it may seem early...but it's not! There is lots of planning to do to get everyone signed up and floor layout design in order to accommodate everyone.

Hi ...This is Sharon P. – President and a Member of the Show Committee for the Orange County Chapter of the Calif. Turtle & Tortoise Club.
Although I know nothing can compare to an invite done face to face – at this time I am afraid an email will have to do. Please do not consider it to be any less sincere…it’s not!!
We would love for you to join us for our 3rd Annual Live Turtle & Tortoise Show on Sunday Aug. 17th, 2014. It will once again be held indoors at the beautifully carpeted and air conditioned La Habra Community Center in the City of La Habra. CA. (Southern Calif.) Show time is 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
We welcome you to show off and exhibit your personal animals, Pictures/tri-fold boards, help with other members animals, volunteer to man a booth/relieve someone, help with the kids tables, bar-b-que hot dogs, sell baked goodies – soda – water, answer questions or direct people to where they want to go. We are also excepting vendors selling items turtle/tortoise related in some way. You will need to get approval from the show committee on your item(s). This is to keep from duplications….
There is no cost for you to exhibit or sell at the show! We do ask “sellers” to please donate a nice item to our show/chapter raffle.
For each exhibit or volunteers - you will receive a special “thank you” gift!! Along with a free lunch of freshly bar-b-qued hot dogs, chips and soda/water. This alone is worth coming and spending the day with us! Not counting all the fun you will have….
Rules are simple… **All animals must be contained in some type of container or enclosure and not allowed to roam freely. **The carpet must be protected with a tarp if animals are in an enclosure on the floor. **Electrical cords must be duct taped down. **Please provide some type of table cover that covers to the floor. (A simple .99 plastic table cover is fine.) **You will need to provide your own electrical cords/lighting. **We provide the 8’ banquet tables and chairs. ** You must be set up before 9:30 a.m. and cannot take items out until the rooms are clear of the public.
There will be ABSOLUTELY NO SELLING OF ANIMALS DURING THE SHOW, INSIDE THE CENTER, IN THE PARKING LOT, OR ON THE SURROUNDING PROPERTY!! ANYONE CAUGHT WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW…. THE DEPT. OF FISH AND WILDLIFE DO COME TO/THROUGH THE SHOW (Undercover)…SO DON’T TRY IT!!
