I get a bit paranoid if I see something growing in the garden that Iv not seen before as in a odd looking weed,
I don,t want to pull it up in case the the torts want to eat it but on the other hand think it could be harmful or poison to Torts or is it just a case they know what to eat and what not to eat.
Any thoughts.

They don't always no what not to eat. Best would be to look at all the different tort plant safe sites and if you still can't find it, post a pic here and someone might be able to ID it for you.

I play it safe, if you are unsure of a plant ID, and your tortoise looks hungry and interested, yank it. IMHO.

If you post good photos here I will do my best to ID them. There is also a very active ID forum over at davesgarden.com - experts from all over the world will see it there.
