Hi All!

I have my first Indian Star baby hatching! 117 days of incubation!

I have been rescuing turtles for many, many years and as I age, it gets harder for me to see the bad conditions most of them are in. But then this happens, and it makes it all worthwhile! This never gets old! I received a male and female Indian Star tortoise a few years ago from a guy going into a nursing home. They were in pretty good condition, just young. This is the female's first clutch. There were 6. 4 were infertile. I still have one more in the incubator. Amazing!
