I’ve been reading a lot on these forums about how people weigh their tortoises to keep track of their growth to see if its healthy or not.. or something like that.
To be honest i’m not actually sure what the real reason is, or what a good weight for my tortoise should be! If any of you guys have any information or advice on what to expect in terms of how much weight my tortoise should be gaining, or at what pace he should be putting on weight, that would be very helpful!
I’ve had him for about two months, I was told when I got him he was about 3.5-4inchs in length and was just graduating into adulthood. His current weight is .573 pounds (260 grams if that helps).
What do your guys think
