feeding?

hello uk poeple, i need to see some pics of plants that i can find around the uk/garden, that tortoises can eat i have a golden greek, im feeding him on dandelions and bind weed the most but what else is there, i not very good with plant names but i need to see pics,

if you have a green house you might be able to grow stuff from the theodore payne foundation they sell a tortoise blend of seeds

Have you tried going to the Shelled Warriors site? They have some great shots of various plants in the threads there and as I recall also have some links to various lists that are pretty good.

please take note, these plants and flowers are common wild flowers or weeds around UK all edible flowers and leaves

^_^ your very much welcome Shaun, if you need pictures of other things that are edible such as (just example) Hosta, pansy, hebe etc.
i can supply them.

Hi Shaun,
Be careful not to feed too much Bindweed,its not a good tort food to feed on a regular basis.If you are feeding dandelions,are you able to get Plantain,Hibiscus flowers,Wild Mallow flowers and leaves,Wild Rocket?Google on images for the pictures.Be careful that the weeds havent been sprayed with any type of chemicals from farmers,garden centres or members of the public.
