Hi just thought I’d share my enclosure extension. Two years ago I had an insulated shed made with electrics for my two Russians and a garden space for them. It wasn’t long before I noticed the bullying started and my female went off her food. I had to then divide the space inside and out. We had to cut another hole in the side of the shed for Charlie to get out. The space Charlie had outside wasn’t ideal so now the weather here in uk has picked up we are extending, I’m so excited. Today my partner has cut the wood to size and I’ve painted with wood preserver. Tomorrow I’m hoping we can put together. I will attach photos and post again tomorrow when we’ve done more.

Going to work great. Just don't forget how well Russians can climb. You may need to do a cap on Charlies side so he can't climb over to his girl friend.

I’ve planted a lavender plant and a campanula, also put half plant pots in for a hide. Got to get some concrete slabs to go around the edge to stop any escaping underneath. The walls are quite high , do you think we still need to put corners on ?

That's very pretty, but I wonder at the use of rocks for decoration. Many tortoises try to eat rocks, plus once the grass takes hold it will get all mixed up with the rocks.
Also, placing the half log next to the wall gives the little monster a 'leg up' to climb out!

Well the white stuff is hardcore to stop it getting too wet, it aids drainage. The smaller blue slate is for when the sun comes out it warms up quicker than other texture . Think I do need a corner piece over the hide, like you say could be a leg up. I’ve had a lot of my ideas of a YouTube video from the Norfolk tortoise trust, it’s called tortoise matters, they’ve made a few videos.
