Just curious: does anyone know of an European TESTUDO KLEINMANNI (Egyptian Tortoise) breeder?

Not that I have room for another tort right now, but was wondering if there were any breeders around here because these are one of my favourite torts.

This is a very protected species in Europe. Even more so than Hermann's...

Hi there! There are some Egyptians kept in the UK but I don't know of any breeders. They would need a lot of additional heat but you would do better in Portugal. I'm sure there would be breeders of Egyptians somewhere in Europe, as there are tort keepers in all countries. You would maybe find out by going on some of the forums there, in the UK the Shelled Wariors site is well used and would be worth a try.
In France there is this forum (below). I like to go on these other sites as well , but I cannot get the best out of them, my own fault not knowing the languages!

I have seen Egyptian torts in Bristol zoo, lovely creatures.
