I was likely around 7-8 yrs old when
I/we went. So here we'd be talking somewheres around 45 yrs ago. It was so fun. Then I remember the plague shutting them down for awhile and I moved north.

The plague?? Really?
The cool thing about the SD Diego Zoo is the story of Diego a big 100 year old galap sent back to the Darwin research center in the 70 and still going strong.
