Today I checked on my russian tortoise eggs, and two is the same size as when laid, and 1 is about half the length. Is this supposed to happen? o.o They've been in the incubator for about a week.

It shrank from original size? Or the second egg is smaller than the other? It's very typical to have different size eggs. But if it has gone down in mass you may have too hot or cold temperatures, or keeping it too wet causing one of the eggs to swell. So how do you have them set up?

you may not have enough moisture in the incubator. They don't normally shrink.

They're at about 31 degrees celcius, and the moisture is like a video I saw about them. It's been about 2 days since I last checked them, so it might be a mistake of vision, not remembering one being smaller.. ,_,
