dumb poop clean up question...

okay, I am trying to choose a substrate for my indoor enclosure for the Hermanns tortoise that I don't even have yet...
with dark substrates like coconut coir and topsoil isn't it hard to see (and therefore clean up) their poop?

I use soil/coir
dont look for the color, look for the shape
Easy to distinguish the log shape from the coir and soil...
Dont worry you will see it.
4/5 times, I find it beside the food tile too

There are no stupid questions here!! So ask away because thats how we all learn! I use the coir too and sometimes find the 'poo' hard to see too.
