Hi everyone,

So do tortoises drink often? Because mine does not. I rarely see him drink. But I soak him every day, give him cucumbers, and mist his food. I'm just concerned about his water consumption.

If his urates are liquidy and not hard, he is hydrated well.

You know they can take in water through their nose? Does he stick his nose under water when he soaks?

Well I'm also nervous, because I haven't seen urates in a few days. But I soak him EVERY day. And give him cucumbers every day to make sure he's getting water.
I don't see urates from mine every day either, every few days. Soaking every other or a few times a week is fine. Depending on age.

He's older, but I'm just so cautious especially because it's summer, is oak him every day. Thank you so much

Good news! Urates came! And they were the healthiest I've ever seen them. They were so smooth and not gritty what so ever.
