Is this considered a sedum? Would it be safe tort food?
I have had this for way longer than I have had torts. I never worried about the variety before so I have long forgotten, if I ever really knew it.
It has taken over my garden window. I was going to clean it up and toss it, but if edible I will use it. It is very prolific. Has little white flower clusters.

No picture, Ann?

Sedum acre is toxic: "Sedum acre contains high quantities of piperidine alkaloids (namely (+)-sedridine, (−)-sedamine, sedinone and isopelletierine), which give it a sharp, peppery, acrid taste and make it somewhat toxic."

but most of the other sedums are ok for tortoises to eat.

I'm not sure, but I think that's a crassula, not sedum. Crassula is edible.

Well, I think I finally found it. It looks to be Sedum clavatum which is listed as toxic.

Thank you! Out it goes. I wont take any chances. I couldn't seem to find it anywhere.
