Okay your all probably sick of hearing from me and I'm sorry!

I rescued a red footed tortoise 4 days ago now and will attach a few pics of how I got him what he's like now etc!

Can people please tell me if everything looks fine

Okay I have him on coconut coil, with sphagnum moss around water bowl and in hide, fresh food and ate 2 prawns

Water cleaned 3 times daily

Does he look hydrated enough? ImageUploadedByTortForum1389387343.684834.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1389387380.839599.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1389387398.439467.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1389387418.187078.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1389387436.285233.jpg

He looks fine. Put some more moist moss inside the hiding place and add a CHE (ceramic heat emitter) for night time heat.

he's adorable! and he looks healthy, good job! :) one thing i will point out is the water dish...many members on here have lost tortoises when they flip over into those dishes ): a good replacement is a terra cotta saucer...the kind that go under plants. in the meantime you could level that one with the substrate so he doesn't have to climb over it.

not sure if you do, but a good practice is to soak your tortoise in a tub he cannot get out of in some warm water for 20 mins everyday or every other. the warm water stimulates digestion (poop) and he's more likely to drink in there.
