Hey! I’m looking to get my first Sulcata. I have an outdoor pen and enclosure.
I have talked to this lady on Craigslist. She sent me these pictures. Does he look healthy? Is he big enough to live outside?

He looks great! I would say hes big enough to stay outside all day but would prob take him inside at night until he gets a lil bit bigger. Handsome guy/girl though.

What's the weather like? Sulcatas need to be warm day and night.

Wonderful looking tortoise! Georgia is nice n warm, but you would still need to make a proper heated nightbox for safety, warmth & just ‘cause,

Get him! Then build a night box!

Your night time temps are still too cold, which is why you would need a heated night box.

45 tonight.... way too cold!

I thought it was... GA not hot enough for ya?
You'll be fine in the summer, but winter might be an issue when its consistently cold for weeks at a time.

This tortoise is large enough to be outside full time since we are in spring and its getting warmer. I love GA weather in spring and fall. So perfect.

The tortoise looks healthy, but has an unusually high dome. This doesn't mean anything bad, its just distinctive.
