Hi everyone I'm here today to ask a question. Do tortoises have lazy days? Because today I woke up and I fed it and I went to work. After I came home I saw that they didn't finish there food because they always do. Also they have napping the whole day. Besides that they did eat a little though. As for my temps the basking spot is around 90-100 Fahrenheit and there cool side is about 75-80. I keep the humidity at 65. They are sulcata tortoises. Thanks! Please tell me if I'm doing anything wrng

I asked the same thing a few weeks back and the general thought is that yes, they do....BUT there was a reason mine was having a lazy day. I had let him get too cool at night and he was sluggish the next day or so. I keep a ceramic heat emitter on him at night now and he doesn't ever see temps less than 80 now. The area directly under the heater is around 90 and he actually prefers to stay there at night. What temp do you keep yours at night?
