Hello fellow tortoise owners/lovers!
I have a Hermann's hatchling who is 6 months and I bought an:
EXO TERRA REPTILE UVB150 fluorescent bulb, T8 / 35,4335 inches / 30 W
My enclosure measures 49,61 inches x 49,61 inches, hence the long UVB bulb.
But the watts are pretty high - do you know which distance it should be from the bottom layer?
And do you know if I should put the UVB bulb over the midde or over the side of the tortoise table (right now it is hanging above the middle but I see many people have it more on the side of the table).
