Kristina whipped up this 'platform' with a few pieces of driftwood.. I added what I had.. and voila' -

She had been there for awhile because she was 'dried-out'.. and napping -

He doesn't bask like she does.. but occasionally he does and jumps into the water as soon as I open the door... SPLASH!!!

( I didn't want to disturb her much so I used the 'no-flash' setting.. will get better pics ASAP )

Great pictures...as usual. Very natural looking basking platform. I've seen them basking on the smallest little floating logs in the big pond where I live.

She is so pretty to look at! I just love how soft her skin looks, is it soft? She is gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing!!
