Desert tortoises for sale (?)

This is not my ad. The tortoises look like CA native torts which are illegal to sell, right?

You are correct. And that tank is WAYYYYYYY too small for just one of them.

I tried emailing them but it doesn't recognize the email as a working one.
You should try and see if you can get ahold of them and inform them that not only is it illegal for them to sell the DT but that it's also abuse to keep that many in an aquarium. Geez, they live in CA, why are they in a small aquarium. To bad common sense can't be taught.

I emailed them earlier this a.m. and advised them that if the Department of Fish and Wildlife were to read their ad they were risking being charged $10,000 fine for selling a native desert tortoise. That's probably why the ad was taken down.
