Day at the zoo!

I took my wife and parents to Riverbanks Zoo down in Columbia today. I was excited to see their galops, but they only had little ones.but when we came up to the torts big enclosure, I saw that they were Sulcatas! They had 4 of them. Here are some pics I took. It was pretty cool to see them this size in person

I am a big supporter of zoos having sulcatas. They are at high risk in their native lands. Also ive taken in 8 adults this spring so far from the Ft.worth, dallas, and tulsa zoo. I think zoos are big part of education on conservation. Youd be surprised how many people would read the little "info" plague if worded correctly and make a difference.

I live in Charlotte. Went down there for the day with some friends and my family. It was the second time i had been. I love going.
