Abdulla, yeah that's the problem. It's completely open. I should probably get some acrylic or plastic covering for part of it.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can just get a clear plastic shower curtain from the dollar store to cover most of it. That's what I do sometimes, and I just get a new one when that one gets old/yucky looking.

I just got a couple of panels of clear plexiglass from Home Depot and lay them across the top. Since they're not attached, it's easy to move them around to kept good air flow.

Thank you. That's great advice. I just need to figure out where to get something like that here. For now he just has a heavy layer of seran wrap over part of his tub and I've been spraying it and him down a lot, keeping the humidity around 70%.
