Cypress mulch stuff

What happens if Donatello-my little sulcata -were to eat the cypress mulch thats in its enclosure?

Cypress mulch is not toxic. And as long as he's well-hydrated, it won't cause impaction.

My sister has a young tortoise, about 5" SCL that has a real bad "thing" for eating the substrate. She's tried all kinds of things to get him to stop eating it. She sent me a picture of some of his poop, and all it is is packed together cypress mulch.
