I bought my tort a large Cuttlebone but she won't touch it. I figured it would take her awhile to figure out its edible but after a month she finally just pooped on it (final act of protest? lol) so I tossed it out. I have a friend who keeps red foot torts and she feeds them some kind of manufactured tort block to help beak wear, its even cactus flavored but I'm not sure if its also a calcium supplement. My tort is 3yrs old and has quite a bit of pyramiding due to her previous owner being clueless about UV and diet .. I know she gets enough calcium now and I was more concerned about beak wear. Should I keep trying the cuttlebone ? Anyone out there with leopard torts have any success with it or the cactus block?
