I was just wondering to best way to cook eggs for my redfoot, also do I just cook them like I would for a human or nuke them a bit longer? Also, is it ok to give white and yolk?

The couple of times I've done it, I've scrambled them with the eggshells (for extra calcium, but I've also heard of people hard-boiling them and serving pieces to their torts.

Thank you! I think I'll try them scrambled then I can hide a few greens in there too, did you boil the shells first or just crush them straight in?

when I took my new Russian in for a worm check the vet said to feed him a hard boiled egg with the shell for extra calcium. I was wondering about that. I have a cuttle bone in his habitat and sprinkle a little Repto-Cal on his food twice a week.

Hmm not sure if Russians normally need protein but I'm no expert @jsheffield has a Russian I think

Maybe you could just try grinding up a bit of shell? I was going to experiment today with scrambling some egg and shell together but the weather was just sooo hot I couldn't face the eggy smell ?

I hard boil them. Them put them in a bowl. Shells on and smash them for a few minutes with a potato masher.
At this time, I do or don't ad other items to it.

Be careful not to leave any leftovers uneaten for very long.
Eggs are surprisingly good at attracting ants.

You'll probably be fine.
Mine all live outside and I'm very mindful of my previous issue with FIRE ANTS

I give my redfoots hard boiled egg with the shell about once per week.
I don't give them raw egg shells, don't know if it's OK or not?
