another solution that works is just typing the conversion you need into google.
i frequently use "X c to f" which means X degrees centigrade to fahrenheit, where X is any temp.
google will automatically convert for you. try others like "ft to m" feet to meters or "l to fl oz" liters to fluid ounces.
