Been searching for a pure Colombian for a long time. I have an exceptional female and now I just found a male.

He tries to bite my female Colombian and my other big clown face male will shell ram and try to bite him. Do i need to pick one? Kind of worried this yellow Colombian is aggressive, thoughts?

Generally you want to keep reptiles, tortoises included in a 1.4 configuration. Spread out breeding between females and no male competition.

If two males then you want 2.6 or 2.8 for the same setup.

If you have 2.1 yikes, will probably be bad.

Is it not true that sometimes competition between males encourages breeding? However this raises another question: Why produce more offspring of common species? Aren't there already too many little ones being improperly cared for or killed because of this glut on the market?
