Hello my "old" friends...Im still alive, yes yes.

I have a question for THE professionals :)
CITES....are Jordanian Greeks listed? I'm not slowly starting to put things together, paperwork etc etc for our move to the UK.I've got Yoda pretty sorted, and left tallula baby for last as I know hers will be more complicated eeeek. Looks like it will either be June 2011 or September 2011 fr the big move....time flies, it's not that far away LOL.

Here the beauty is...

So in other words...I need an export permit, but not an import permit? I'll be in contact with Defra again to find out all the other stuff, but am just wondering.

Thanks again

http://sea.unep-wcmc.org/isdb/Taxonomy/index.cfm?displaylanguage=ENG

I'm supposed to find Tallula's species or genus on this link above right....but I cannot find it...have been sitting at my desk for two hours to NO avail.....Im going gray as we speak, and my be bald from pulling my hair out....LOL.

I need to find her on the CITES list, to apply for an import permit and an export permit.

AND one more question....it's a 7 hours flight from Dubai to UK.....whats the best and safest way for Tallula to travel?

OK,
On the 1st page-
Search by name = Species
Click on "FIND IT".

2nd page -
Enter all or part of the genus name = Testudo
Click on "Search"

3rd page -
Highlight - Testudo graeca
Click "Display detailes"

Testudo graeca is all you need along with proof of ownership, A receipt.
Since this is a pet & property you should have no problem.
Start with the "EXPORT" permit from Dubai.
They should be able to assist with the "IMPORT" permit.

Hmmmm, on my side, it has different types of Testudo Graeca, not just that onits own...i.e: Testudo graeca ibera pallas 1814.
Lol.

I also didn't keep Tallula's proof of ownership, but I am sure I can get some kind of copy from the pet store I bought her from.
Thanks so much for all your help, am honestly surprised Danny or anyone else didn't reply too. Tom you're a star, thanks a mill :)
