DO NOT put them right into your other turtle enclosures.. have a seperate place ready for them. Quarantine.

What kind of kitty do you have?

yes quarantined, however i only have 1 Q tank an outdoor setup and an indoor. my main guys are outside unless theres storms comin or im away for a few days which i will be this weekend+ being how the male wants to kill the female im not keeping them together (for now) so im actually a tank short so ill most likely put the female in with my other come friday

2087 nice but i really dont think ill be reaching a ripe old age of 101 im kinda surpized i made it this far

so ill be trying to get these 2 into shape i think the toughest part about keeping these 2 is learning chinese so we can talk

she is beat down if he had a wife beater on he could be on an episode of cops

Oh, poor little turts. Kudos for rescuing them; hope they recover well. I'm with everyone else in saying you need to quarantine first. The risks definitely outweigh the benefits (aka convenience) of just throwing one in with your other boxies... Even if you disregard the health risks to the animals involved, what if your boxies and wood turtle bully her, too? That wouldn't be much better. Worse, even.

It's not hard to find something to use as an enclosure, even just a temporary one. Storage tubs and kiddy pools work great--I've used both in emergencies, and they work fine for a tortoise or box turtle. You can get a 45" round kiddy pool for something like $10. Depending on the size storage tub, you can find them for $12 and up (speaking in terms of tubs remotely large enough to contain a turtle for any period of time). Just walk in to your local Walmart or Big Lots... I'm sure you can find something!

Anyway, if you're still trying to find care info, here's what I found in a google search for "Asian Box Turtles" (the search for "Chinese box turtles" brought up a species that doesn't exactly resemble your pair): http://www.turtlepuddle.org/cuora/Asian.html
Going by your pictures, yours seem to most resemble the Malayan Box Turtles. Some care sheets: http://www.turtlepuddle.org/cuora/caresheet.html
http://www.chelonia.org/articles/Camboinensiscare.htm

Hope that's helpful to you. Good luck!!!
