Hi all,
I collected this poor young Spur yesterday and thought I would post on here in case anyone is interested in following his progress.
He was advertised in the local classifieds (UK) and I couldn't stop thinking about him - so he's now with us and our other Spurs.

He's a 4 year old Testudo graeca (if anyone can sub-species I'd be really grateful!).
Very overgrown beak and horrible pyramiding ?
Luckily we have an excellent exotics vet close by, so he's booked in for a beak trim and a vits & mins jab.
He now has a large table with heat, UVB, fibrous greens and a humid den spot, so fingers crossed it hasn't caused too much internal damage and the pyramiding will start to slow.

Pics below were taken today - I will add more as he grows ?

How lucky that you saw Chester advertised - he looks desperately in need of proper care, which I'm sure he will get now - thank you so much. I will be looking forward to seeing his progress.
Best wishes from Angie - also in UK (Devon)
