Hello everyone, I am no red foot expert and have really am bad at identifying locales. I have a red foot tortoise I got maybe a year ago, he is roughly 11 inches, and has a red head. The shell is not perfect and a little deformed but overall he is in grea4 health, heavy and active. My question is, is it possible he is a cherry head? My other two red foot tortoises have yellow heads and markings and this guy def looks a little different. I always just thought he had more red never really thought twice about cherry head or different locale. He also seems big since I thought cherry heads only get 8-9 inches. Here are a few photos I can take others if need just let me know. If anyone can help would be awesome.

The darker plastron instead of a beige makes me think he’s a Cherryhead. I think I read about a Cherryhead getting 11”, but mainly males are up to 8” and females 10”, like you said.

Definitely a cherryhead. Rudolph red nose coupled with dark plastron is sure sign.
