There has been a lot of questions/discussions regarding chemicals used in plants from retailers. I know that weeds and plants from our chemical free land is the best diet, but those of us who don't live in warm climates can struggle with winter offerings and sourcing plants for enclosures.
This past spring I found a great resource in A Natural Farm in Florida. I ordered a mulberry tree and had it shipped to me. They have a fabulous story and are CHEMICAL FREE. They are also committed to education the public about chemical free gardening. Granted, they are not as cheap as the bigger retailers, but who is left thinking that tortoises are inexpensive pets?
I'm going to visit them in person in November as they are really close to my in-laws!
