I'm finally done w cedars enclosure and he's all moved in!

Some of you might remember a previous post I wrote where I was stressing about what to do w my tortoise. I was moving to a smaller place with no true outdoor space for him.

Well this is what I came up with. It solved both my tortoise enclosure and storage problem at my new place!

It took lots of wood!

And we stained it to match my furniture indoors

We started with the shelf that would solve all my storage needs and get cedar off the ground. It's 5 feet long and almost 3 feet wide.

Then we did the actual enclosure! That was the easy part after building that huge shelf!

Finished enclosure!

Finished everything!

My boyfriend and I had never built anything before so I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. :)

A first build for both of you? Well, you did very well. :) I hope it was a pleasant bonding experience for the two of you.
